I am a Full Professor at CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay, and Director of the CNRS International Research Laboratory on Learning Systems (ILLS) in Montréal. I am also an Associate Academic Member of Mila and an Adjunct Professor at ÉTS Montréal.

My research develops the mathematical and information-theoretic foundations of reliable, adaptive, and collaborative intelligence. At the intersection of information theory, statistical decision theory, statistics, and machine learning, I investigate how intelligent systems acquire, represent, and exchange information to learn, reason, and make decisions under uncertainty and resource constraints.

My work connects foundational results in communication and distributed inference with task-relevant representations, privacy, uncertainty and failure prediction, generative AI evaluation, and pragmatic multi-agent communication.
